I hope you've all had a good start to the new year.
I'm definitely feeling those January blues - the cold weather, looming essay deadlines and the upcoming term has got me feeling a bit meh. But I'm focusing on those positives.
In the last few months, I feel like I've really learnt a lot about myself and have started to 'find' myself (I hate how cliche that sounds...) I may do a whole blog post on this, but I've really started to find my personal style rather than trying to follow all of the trends we see all over blogs, Pinterest, Instagram etc. Most of them don't suit me anyway. This has really helped me to feel a whole lot more comfortable in myself and confident with my outfits.
I purchased this skirt from UO for my work christmas party, entirely unsure if it would suit me, but it was the day before and I didn't have too many other options.
I love it though.
The colour is beautiful for the wintery months and the pleats and midi length is really on-trend at the moment. Though I loved dressing it up with a black bodysuit, wearing a casual jumper with it works just as well.
I also recently dyed my hair a dark red, which I've really fallen in love with. It's such a beautiful shade of red. I used Loreal Casting Creme Gloss in Cherry Red which is my go-to hair colour brand.
Also can we talk about this jumper? I got it for Christmas and I can't get enough of it. It's from New Look but I love the Japanese style and it's super comfy. Unfortunately it's sold out now, sorry!
