Finishing University

Hello you guys.

Betcha can't get what this post is going to be about. No? Well I did it. I've finished university, my exams are over, I went to graduation ball and I have my results. I actually got my results a couple of days ago but I've been way too hungover to write this post until now.

I GOT A FRIGGIN' 2:1 !!!!

I am so ecstatic. I've never been more proud of myself because damn I worked hard for that result, so I'm stupidly happy about it. I'm going to be graduating Warwick Uni with a 2:1!!

Since exams finished, I expected a few chilled out weeks, but it's been anything but! I've been working all the hours, alongside house viewings and moving prep, a hell of a lot of admin stuff, job hunting, and let's be honest, celebrations. I've FINALLY visited Warwick Castle too which was a nice day out, got an ear piercing, and fit in a trip home to see my family and go horse riding.

I went to Graduation Ball a couple of weeks ago which was such a lovely night with my best friends. It was nice to see everyone dressed up and together, with amazing food and plenty of wine.

We also had a less-classy celebration after results, which involved significantly more alcohol. Everyone on my course did so well in their exams and we deserved to let off some steam, but if there's one thing I've learned, it's that I'm getting too old to drink that much haha. Hangovers hit you harder in final year than first year.

I've loved my time at Warwick, there's been some lows but a hell of a lot of highs too. Here are just some of my favourite and most memorable moments:

  • Getting 100% in my Stats coursework
  • Riding against Oxford Uni with the polo team
  • Visiting Schloss Neuschwanstein on my Year Abroad
  • Going on a post-exam holiday to Portugal
  • Berlin Tour
  • The antics in Rootes C Block
  • All the gigs - Passenger, Ed Sheeran, McBusted, Coldplay, BMTH, You Me At Six, Latitude festival, The 1975
  • The Neon Party at Mannheim uni

I've said it before but I'll say it again, I can't believe it's all over! 4 years at uni - it seems like only yesterday I was heading to the open day but I've done so much since then. I've grown massively as a person and I've honestly just had the absolute best time of my life. It's kind of scary to think I'm not going back to education in September to be honest, I'll miss uni so badly, but I'm okay with that - here's to the next chapter in my life!
